At Rukylawal Fashion Stores, we are committed to providing quality products and fair, transparent service. To protect both our customers and our business, the following policy applies to all purchases, part-payments, installment orders and special orders.
1. BEFORE PAYMENT
Customers are encouraged to confirm the product, model, size, colour, specification, price, and availability before making payment. Once payment is made, the transaction is treated as a purchase commitment subject to the terms below.
2. PART-PAYMENTS & INSTALLMENT PURCHASES
Part-payments are payments made towards a specific product/order and are not treated as money held in a savings account.
Where a customer voluntarily chooses to pay for a product by installment, the agreed payment arrangement will apply. If the customer later decides not to proceed or changes the mind, cancellation and any applicable refund will be considered in accordance with this policy and applicable Nigerian consumer-production law.
Customers are encouraged to complete installment payments within the agreed period.
3. WHEN RUKYLAWAL WILL PROVIDE A REFUND
A refund may be provided where:
- Rukylawal is unable to supply the product that has been paid for and no suitable alternative is accepted by the customer.
- Rukylawal cancels the order due to circumstances within our control
- A product supplied is materially different from the product ordered and the issue cannot reasonably be resolved through replacement or exchange.
- A product is defective or does not conform to the agreed description, subject to the applicable consumer-protection requirements.
- A refund is otherwise required by applicable law.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made through the original payment method where practicable.
4. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION
If a customer cancels an advance order before collection or delivery, Rukylawal will assess the cancellation based on the circumstances, including:
- How much notice was given;
- Whether the product was specially ordered, customised, or sourced for the customer;
- Whether the costs have already been incurred;
- Whether the product can reasonably be sold to another customer; and
- Any other applicable circumstances.
Where a refund is due, Rukylawal Fashion Stores may deduct only a reasonable cancellation charge where permitted by law.
5. CHANGE OF MIND
A customer who simply changes their mind after committing to a purchase does not automatically receive an unconditional full refund.
For available standard-stock products, Rukylawal Fashion Stores may, at its discretion, offer an exchange or another reasonable solution where appropriate,
For specially sourced, customised or specially ordered products, cancellation may be subject to applicable costs and the terms communicated before the order is placed.
6. RETURNS AFTER DELIVERY/COLLECTION
Customers should inspect their goods at the point of collection or delivery where reasonably possible.
Where a product is defective, damaged, materially different from what was ordered, or otherwise does not conform to the agreed purchase, please contact us promptly with evidence of the issue, so that we can assess and provide the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, exchange or refund where applicable.
Products returned because of a customer’s change of mind must be unused, in their original condition and packaging where applicable, may still be subject to the terms of this policy and applicable law.
7. PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ORDINARY CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Certain products may not be suitable for ordinary return or exchange because of their nature, including customised products, specially sourced products, products altered at the customer’s request, and products that have been used, damaged, or modified after purchase, except where the law provides otherwise.
8. REFUND PROCESS
Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after approval, and after any necessary verification of the transaction.
Customers must provide their payment details and proof of payment where required for verification.
9. IMPORTANT
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under Nigerians law.
By making payment, the customer acknowledges that they have been given access to and agree to the applicable purchase and payment terms.
Rukylawal Fashion Stores reserves the right to review individual cases fairly and in accordance with applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.
